I’ve been looking closely at published nonfiction and narrative examples by Lauren Redniss and Art Spiegelman, and my other favorite, Asterios Polyp, will have to figure out how to translate historical fact to visualization.
I’ve been struggling with the big why, why do this when there are existing tremendous, moving, lyrical, visual yet sans illustration, published examples already in the world?
Do I represent these events chronologically? Start in the middle and flash forwards and backward in time? Still planning and looking for advice.
