- I really despise public shaming, but as I’m taking the #ed113 instructional design course, I thought I’d link to this article by Kate Taylor, At Success Academy School, a Stumble in Math and a Teacher’s Anger on Video
- (1) Who hasn’t lost it? & (2) While I can empathize with losing it, I dislike her choices. No, I’m not a teacher in any capacity, but I was once a yoga teacher and I am a human who cares for others: I want to step into the video and speak to the students very differently:
- The teacher acknowledge and respond, which I commend: “I’m deeply committed to the children and families of our school, and I’m sorry for my lapse in emotional control 15 months ago. As I tell my scholars to do, I will learn from this mistake and be a better teacher for it.”
