I like to post a petite string of links* (stringks?) to artists whose work I have found or have lately revisited. It’s one of those think things I think (thingks?) which will keep me honest: seeing, thinking, feeling, altogether expanding what I believe is important about being an industrious maker and conscious arts maker (canker?).

- Roy Livingston (Wired) (Roughly Daily) *
- Theo Jensen!
- PDN: Our Choice 30 of 2015: New & Emerging Photographers to Watch
- McNair Evans (PDN)
- Diane Arbus, Masters of Photography: Diane Arbus (Don’t you just find her fascinating? So compassionate in her work. She gave so much kindness and respect to her subjects.)
- Arbus, William Eggleston, Nan Goldin, Emmet Gowin, John Opera – all similar but different-make me want to shoot a massive body of work…They are so magnetic. I like the way they capture the unique, space/spaces, the time specific objects, and then conceptualize, deconstruct, and fill the simplest things (light, pattern, hair arrangement) into an edible, tangible, mystical byte in time.
- Is that nonsense-speak for a lemming fan-girling to hard on a Tuesday? Do you work in a cube-which I love and am grateful for-but really, Do YOU? Let me have my glamorized thought experiments and mystical brain-scapes!!
I will like what I like & will be glad I have the blessing to do so.
