Bio

Hannah Sanders, BFA, MS, MLA, is a native of Louisiana, and currently works as a narrative illustrator, crafter/maker, and woman in tech. Hannah graduated with a BFA Fellowship from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, studied advertising at Northwestern University, cognitive behavior in interactive systems at Bentley University, and Digital Media through Harvard Extension. She has created narrative artwork at the Vermont Studio Center and the Gullkistan Center for Creativity, in Iceland. She has explored connected devices via Arduino on her own and in community workshops at the MIT Media Lab, flirting with MEMS (micro electrical mechanical systems), prototyping with littleBits & 3D printing to build an animatronic hand at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design.
